Rude Girl
The first video released from Katchafire's new album Slow Burning, Rude Girl, has an international, nearly apocalyptic feel, mixing Asian, Latin and Kiwi influences.
Director Ivan Slavov says, "It's amazing how you can take everyday kiwis, put them in the right setting and get a result that looks as though it could be anywhere in the world. This shows what a cultural melting pot New Zealand has become."
Rude Girl went from casting to completion in a 10 day period. It was shot around Auckland with the bar scene taking place in a disused South Auckland abattoir...
