The Flight of the Conchords: The Complete Radio Series

The release of the Conchords debut album should also throw attention back onto this equally funny triple CD set of the complete 2005 BBC Radio 2 series as they try crack the UK music scene.
Although the band were obviously made for television (much of the show reworked this radio material), the deadpan delivery, their manager's awkward anxiousness (here Rhys Darby is called Brian not Murray), and with various guests this is like old time radio plays where you fill in the gaps. And of course post-TV you now have all the images in your head.
Yes, you will hear songs from the new album here -- but this is also the long arc of the rise and then sort of levelling out of the career.
