Lawrence Arabia returns to New Zealand for a Tour

Lawrence Arabia AKA James Milne is returning to New Zealand with band* for a tour after performing throughout Europe and living afar.
These shows are a rare opportunity to see Arabia's wonderfully engaging live show, which attempts to reconcile his love of The Beach Boys and The Kinks with a desire to occasionally rock harder than Crazy Horse. Each will feature songs from the much acclaimed Lawrence Arabia album (2006), quite a few new songs that have recently been recorded in London and Stockholm for the second Lawrence album (Due August 2008) – plus a few Reduction Agents numbers for good measure.
Add into the mix a whole heap of New Zealand's finest musicians guesting all round the country including Liam Finn, Samuel Flynn Scott and Luke Buda (Phoenix Foundation), Connan Mockasin, Minisnap, and John White, and you have a tour that is set to be one of the musical highlights of 2008.
