Kora to Play First Gig in Home Town
We normally don't promote gigs at amplifier (unless its for a good cause, or really big, or really free) but this one is a little bit different.
After 2 years Kora are finally set to play their first ever gig in their hometown of Whakatane on Friday the 18th of February at the Whakatane Hotel. The gig comes after the band has been playing at summer festivals around NZ including Soundsplash, Kaikoura Roots, Groove In The Park and Rhythm and Vines. Their recent release, EP Volume, has been one of our most popular CD's over the past 3 months and has also sold well nationally.
Sharing the stage for the night will be Raglan roots outfit Cornerstone Roots.
