Kora have a new album tipped for release before years end... and those of you down south get a sneak preview of their new tracks as the band play three dates down that way late September.  

Today's featured release is all about the remix...  which reminded me The Black Seeds announced last week a remix competition where you get to create their very own Black Seeds remix, with the winning entry featuring on their forthcoming Specials LP! The winning artist will also receive a percentage of profits from sales of their remix.

Release Of The Day:
Sola Rosa - Get It Together - The Remixes

After the success of their gold selling album Get It Together in 2009, Sola Rosa are pleased to announce the release of Get It Together - The Remixes.

The album has been over a year in the making and features remixes by international and local producers such as TM Juke, The Nextmen, DJ Vadim, J Star, YesKing, Beatfanatic and many more. There is also a brand spanking new mix of Del Ray feat. Chilean rapper FOUR-D, which is getting feet on the dancefloor whenever it's dropped.

"The idea was to make a remix album that wasn't too fragmented in genres and styles so that the average Sola Rosa listener could  pick this up and play it alongside any other Rosa release" - Andrew Spraggon (Sola Rosa)

This year will also see Sola Rosa releasing 'Get It Together' in Australia with subsequent festival dates and tours to follow, as well as UK/Europe releases in 2010. More NZ shows to be announced soon.
