In not NZ Music news but in music related news the Request dance crew from here won the gold medal in the adult division at the 2010 World Hip Hop Dance Championship in the US.
Sorority another kiwi crew came third in the Varisty division. Congratulations to the crews from all of us here. Hat tip to dubdotdash via twitter for the story.
